Buckeye Community Hope Foundation (BCHF) is proud to support the continued availability of affordable, supportive housing for seniors and adults with disabilities through NWC II Apartments in Lima, Ohio.
Located in Allen County, NWC II Apartments is a 12-unit affordable housing community designed to promote stability, independence, and quality of life for vulnerable households. The property consists of a single-story building with one-bedroom apartments serving seniors age 62 and older and adults with disabilities age 18 and older.
All 12 units at NWC II Apartments are supported through a HUD Section 811 Project Rental Assistance Contract (PRAC), providing deep rental affordability for extremely low-income residents with disabilities. This critical support helps ensure that residents can access safe, quality housing without sacrificing other essential needs.
NWC II Apartments is located approximately 1.9 miles from its sister property, NWC I Apartments, creating a continued presence of supportive affordable housing within the Lima community. The property is located within the Ohio Housing Finance Agency’s Northwest Region.
While NWC II is not located within a 2026 Qualified Census Tract, the property is situated in an area targeted for revitalization through a city-adopted plan. Investing in housing within these targeted areas helps support broader community revitalization efforts while preserving housing opportunities for residents who are most vulnerable to housing instability.
