SUMMARY:FOR PARAPROFESSIONALS: Orientation to Classroom Management
DESCRIPTION:Paraprofessional support complements effective teaching and learning. Paraprofessionals are often engaged to support classrooms of students and/or specific (assigned) students. This session will orient paraprofessionals to basic principles of effective student engagement and classroom management. We will discuss specific strategies to help advance positive behavior and student engagement. A follow up session on October 26 will present more in-depth information on problem-solving student behavior.
